Who we are

An owner-operator, by design.

Mexico Infrastructure Partners (MIP) is a leading independent infrastructure and energy investor in Latin America. Since 2012, we have owned and operated our assets.

Power plants. Toll roads. Airports. Fiber networks. Water systems. The essential infrastructure a modern economy runs on — owned by MIP, and run by MIP's own operating companies, every day.

That is the difference between allocating capital and building value. Our investors don't simply gain exposure to Latin American infrastructure. They gain a partner already on the ground, running it.

Our story

A platform, built one step at a time.

MIP was not assembled overnight. Each step widened what we own, operate, and know.

The opportunity

Why Latin America. Why now.

Latin American infrastructure has drawn growing interest from global investors, in a market that remains less crowded than comparable regions.

Nearshoring is redrawing global supply chains, and Mexico sits at its center. The energy transition is reshaping how the region is powered. Both demand enormous investment in exactly the assets MIP already owns.

Infrastructure assets in the region are typically essential, long-lived, and backed by long-term, often inflation-linked revenues.

Reaching them requires an operator already on the ground. That is what MIP has built since 2012.

How we operate

Owners, not just investors.

MIP owns its assets, and runs them. Our assets are managed by our own operating companies, where more than 4,800 people run MIP's power, transport, digital, and social assets directly.

Value doesn't come from financial engineering — it comes from operating the assets better.

Sectors

What we own and operate.

Across four sectors — energy, transport, digital, and social infrastructure — MIP owns and operates the infrastructure a modern economy depends on.

Sustainability

Owned responsibly.

Infrastructure is measured in decades. We live with these assets long after they are built, and with the communities that depend on them — so their environmental and social performance is part of how we run the business. MIP is a signatory to the UN Principles for Responsible Investment, and every new investment passes an ESG due diligence screen before it enters the portfolio.
