Two awards recognizing the firm's 2023 fund activity and Ardian's investment in its telecommunications platform.
MEXICO CITY – March 25, 2024 – The Fund Manager of the Year, LATAM award recognizes MIP's achievements in 2023, including the issuance of its second FIBRA E vehicle, FSocial 23, and the issuance of its sixth fund on the Mexican Stock Exchange for the US$6 billion acquisition of 13 power generation assets.
The Deal of the Year, LATAM award recognizes Ardian's acquisition of 50% of MIP's telecommunications platform, MXT. The deal closed in October 2023, consolidating a portfolio of 1,500 towers and 3,800 km of optic fiber and positioning MXT as the fourth-largest telecom infrastructure player in Mexico.
